North Korea: How bad are they getting hit?

Given their lack of medical resources, number of border crossings with China, and some of the worst malnourishment this side of Iritrea they must be getting slammed harder than anywhere in the world yet I have yet to even see a decent secondhand report from the country other than one that said hundreds of DPRK soldier died and one that said they were secretly begging for aid while claiming no cases.

NK is a shithole. Someone really just needs to go in there and take over.
They have relationships with who? Some African nations, some South American nations.. China and Russia, but does anyone really depend on them?

Well it's not that much of a border country. It's hard to get in and almost impossible to get out. The country sucks as a while but with the restrictions they have in everyday life may be helping them at this point.
