The governor’s office had warned Ace Speedway in Elon that a crowd of more than 25 would violate the state’s Phase 2 coronavirus restrictions.

A sign from management outside the speedway said, “This Event is held in Peaceful Protest of Injustice and Inequality Everywhere.” The Alamance County Sheriff’s Office said it is “evaluating the events.”

i remember an old welder telling me one time, that if you have a mutt and i ran into the road, it wouldn't get hit by a car. If you had a pedigree dog it would get hit....
something about that picture and the virus made me think of that story....

Every Church needs to put on their display sign out front they are hosting a protest on Sunday morning! End of story. I would go and I’m not even a weekly church goer.

I'll bet somewhere in that photograph is an attractive, intelligent person. OR at least someone who is related to an attractive intelligent person. Okay, okay, someone in that picture probably knows someone who is related to an attractive intelligent person.

I think that's the point the track was trying to make. If the virus were as deadly as the media would want us to believe, you would have thought that city and state officials would have shutdown the BLM protests before they ever really got started. They didn't. So this race track is following suit.

I'm not a race fan, but I'm happy for these people and this business for being able to do this.
