I choose to not to want to live in an area that is filled with run or closed down businesses, pregnancies out of control, a public school system that is horrific, unemployment through the roof, theft, robberies, drugs and murder.

I can't see too many others wanting to sign up for this.

Not bigotry. Just a realistic viewpoint from someone that has the means and desire to do better.

No, it's not. A sustainable, attainable goal is to allow the area to wither and die until everyone there is homeless and can be easily evicted.

Then, you raze and rebuild for people who will take care of it.

Every city needs a north Baton Rouge, if it didn't exist those people would be spread out around the city.


Baton Rouge just has a bigger undesirable area than most places it's size.
