To stop what? The isolated terror attack?
Give me the trade off you're actually proposing. If it is curbing immigration from hot spots, ok.
If it is mass deportation or imprisonment or killing of all Muslims in exchange for hopefully not having another Orlando, I'll pass.
We could all turn in our guns and we'd see a reduction in gun crime. But, I value the liberty that accompanies the second amendment more than I do some illusory improvement in security.

The kingdom is in bed with the wahhabism movement and until they are put to task of addressing this, nothing will change. When the saudis start allowing free thought instead of a fundamental doctrine, nothing changes. And remember, these are our allies.
Correct. This is the head of the snake.

Agreed all around.

Sadly, Saudi-funded madrassas aren't driving the radicalization anymore.
Growing up in a Belgian Muslim-enclave shithole with a connection to YouTube is sufficient, now.

kinda hard to carpet bomb an ideology Quote from a WWII veteran "The hell you can't. Because we did it. These Muslims are no different than the [Imperial] Japanese. The Japs had their suicide bombers too. And we stopped them. What it takes is the resolve and will to use a level of brutality and violence that your generations can't stomach. And until you can, this shite won't stop. It took us on the beaches with bullets, clearing out caves with flame throwers, and men like LeMay burning down their cities killing people by the tens of thousands. And then it took 2 atom bombs on top of it. But if that was what it took to win we were willing to do it. Until you are willing to do the same...well I hope you enjoy this shite, because it ain't going to stop."
Thank you sir.
I salute you!

so you have my posts set to ignore or something?
Or are you just saying it's not viable, only carpet bombing or deporting every fricking muslim back to the one country where they teach the radical thoughts.

True, much of this "terror" is individuals who have been radicalized by some shitty life and a cheap phone. However, the money to spread propaganda is plentiful. The most highly paid people in the IS movement are the media. However they recently cut their fighers pay in half which suggests the flow of money may be dying.

I would deport any family members or anyone who has had extended contact with anyone on the terrorist watch list if it would save 1 American life.
There is absolutely 100% no reason to risk American lives to offer citizenship to refugees who we can't afford to take in in the first place.
The fact that I have to convince dems of saving American lives is bad enough.

If we could only save one child... Remember hearing that from the gun debates?

OK, that's different than advocating wholesale deportation of anyone deemed "Muslim".

quote:They're also conscripting people living under their rule, and they routinely execute fighters who refuse to advance when ordered, or retreat without orders. Anecdotal reports from Iraq suggest that a large proportion of the ISIS fighters they face on some fronts in Iraq are conscripted soldiers with poor morale, training, and resolve. This could be one reason why ISIS is crumbling in Iraq.

And I could go on and on but you should get the picture by now. Europe has opened the floodgates to Muslims for the past several decades and now those Muslims are slaughtering Europeans right and left. What Europe is seeing right now is a preview of what we'll be seeing here soon thanks to the flood of "refugees" we're brining in right now.

Then as I said before, you're going to have to accept that the slaughter of ever growing numbers of our fellow Americans in the name of Islam will be a normal part of our daily lives.

He definitely should not have been able to buy a gun, IMO.

sad but true. it's been glorified and to many who cannot adjust, this is a false connection to feel like they're belonging to something.

Makes sense. Conscripts and low morale go together.

One article said one of the French attackers tried to join up with IS but was turned away at the Turkish border.
