Sure, but its in downtown NOLA in arguably one of the top 10 worst areas in the US in regards to crime. It would be unwise to have anyone with a firearm on duty to not have reasonable training and expectation they will have to pull it at some point.
shite gets real fast, I'm not putting blame on the officer. I'm just saying, its not like this was a security guard in a Silicone valley tech campus.
