I'll have to check it out. I loved Seattle when I went out there, and have some family so I wouldn't be by myself.

A lot of my friends have moved to Denver too.

You have far more NOLA experience than me but IIRC, the crime in the FQ is on the rise since the NOPD was gutted. Is that true or is that just a product of the 24 hr news cycle?

The latter. FQ has been that way since at least Katrina

Not saying there isn't an uptick and it's not a problem, I'm saying that it is just much MUCH more publicized.

I guess that's what I'm curious about. If there is an uptick, it seems the extra coverage isn't exactly unwarranted.

Do you have any numbers that confirm that?

Portland probably didn't have a murder last night. They have about 30 murders a year or something close to that. I wonder why that is? Hmmm ...

Again, that shite has been said for years. I feel like you're not understanding what I'm saying or just being a dick. Can't decide which.

Yup. The lack of NOPD is a big deal. Needs fixed asap. Unfortunately voters, voted against the tax increase to add 400 officers to the force

NOPD isn't understaffed by 500?

I know a friend of mine finally had enough and went to a northshore dept because he was tired of the NOPD bullshite.
