NOPD slipping, in the old days if you shot at NOPD and they got you, you slipped going up the stairs at central booking, that is if you made it to the police cruiser

That was Lakeview before Gentilly. I understand the appeal to live in Lakeview because it’s a nice place filled with young professionals and families but frick that. New Olreans is a shite hole. Taxes are through the roof with zero to show for it. You know what the second largest millage is on the tax bill? Servicing debt....
