Saw these assholes lined up near the stop sign next to Red Eye this morning. Drove right past them because they weren't doing their jobs since nobody was on the road.

None of this would go well in court for the city. Congrats on having a frickin idiot as your mayor New Orleans.

Carry a legal pad of paper and a pen. Have at least a dozen questions related to the Corona virus, social distancing, specific NO policies, etc on it.

When the cops stop you and says it’s an informational checkpoint, act excited and say “Great! I need answers to these questions about the current situation.” Start asking the questions and documenting answers. Let them know that you’ll cooperate fully after you fulfill the primary purpose of the stop. When they insist you shut up and just get to the revenue generating portion of the stop, claim that you’re asking the questions because you are concerned about “citizen safety.” The cop will probably threaten to charge you with blocking traffic!

And then ask yourself if we should rely on law enforcement to protect our 2nd Amendment rights.
