Over the past several years I have bought much of my casual clothing from Goodwill. I find tons of Polo, Vineyard Vines, Brooks Brothers etc. Just picked up a pair of Polo Andrew shorts that look brand new this morning.

No, but if you go to the right stores, u can get really good shite.

a lot of it is brand new, that just sat in some ones closet, or never worn.

I have in the past but it has been years. I have no problem with it and make decent money, not sure what OT baller money is though.

I bought a sofa that we left on the parade route. Other than that, no. I don't wear other people's clothes

I've actually found some good buys from goodwill for myself. My wife gives me shite about it though. I buy a lot of boots from there and give them to the guys that work for me as well.

I've bought from thrift shops before, but not for a long time. About ten years ago I walked into one that happened to be having an "Everything is 25c sale". The catch -- you were not allowed to try anything on (the fitting rooms were locked shut).

I ended up buying about 20 pairs of pants and maybe 20 shirts. Some of them fit me so it turned out to be a good deal.

At least 50% of my everydaywear was purchased at goodwil. Yhd prices are great, but more importantly to me, they're preworn/washed so I don't have to worry about the clothing item shrinking in the wash

It's been a few years but you can find some gems. Hell I may run by there today after seeing this thread.

I used to go there quite a bit with grandma when I was a kid. I went back a few years ago and was pretty disappointed with the selection and price.

See I would only go to the Goodwill locations in Scottsdale. Better odds of finding designer clothes for cheap. Wealthy women getting rid of clothes they only wore one season. That they just got their maids to bag up and dump at the Goodwill.

I live in a major city, but every time I try a thrift store it looks like a hoarder's garage. Just a big pile of shite that smells funny.

No, but I bought a LL Bean A-2 Jacket from an Estate sale for $12. It was near perfect, fit me like a glove. I wear it all the time.
