I like Scott, I don't agree with him and I think he is being dramatic. I will drink a beer in honor of him being dramatic

LL might be small and impressionable, but she isn't a child. Unlike when she started posting here.

So you think squaw is an OK term to be teaching children? How about asian? Spic? ****? Where do you draw the line?

Dude is acting like a huge bitch.

First off why you got your kid in some white privilege summer camp ? Typical left hypocrisy. Why don’t you send your kid to a summer camp in the city ?

Squaw is simply a word that means indian woman

It isnt offensive in its actual definition

asian and spic are offensive in their actual definition

I understand thinking redskin should be removed

It is offensive and has been considered offensive/derogatory for a hundred years at least.

He ripped my fan out of my ceiling trying to swing from it then rolled over my neighbors mailbox when he got mad and left the party

He's pretty much a criminal

It was originally used as a neutral word, and it defined as such

Some words are born out of being offensive, squaw is not one of those, so the way in which it is used should matter

If you want to bang the drum for redskin I would agree

I don't see the problem with 99% of these names, but squaw is a poor choice.

Is it worth going to the media about? No, it's not.

I wonder if he'll allow me to host a reunion of the Chalmette Stutterers at his place. I'll even try to bring some Manuel hot tamales.

So only the original use of the word by white men should matter in contemporary society? That's an apologist stance.

He made a tweet on his personal twitter saying look at this racist shite the school my ex put my kid in and posted a picture with Indian names of how the pick up line works at the school. Somebody at the terrible Nola.com contact him about it to go into more detail. Dumb move IMO.
