I click on average 2-3 X’s per article. Not only does it make me not want to buy the product being advertised, it’s led me to other news outlets that don’t bombard you with it.

It’s at times hard to actually get to the articles with the many layers of pop ups saturating the screen. Was my go to once upon a time but no longer.

This is a huge pet peeve of mine. The times picayune was one of the greatest papers in the country. Enter John Georges . He totally destroyed Nola.com. I used it all day and now I NEVER go to it anymore. It’s horrible. And it’s a damn shame in this time of need for news. I hope it fails and dies I loathe John Georges

I used to go to Nola.com for local news and now is wel.com, but, they aren’t great.

What is everyone else using for local New Orleans news other than TD?

Although the Times-Picayune started going downhill before John Georges blew it up, nola.com was still a great site and he has completely ruined it. The format, the pop-ups, the constant subscription reminders, poor content and a surprising lack of updates considering they are the only major paper down here. And he purposely killed the comment section for whatever agenda he has because I have never heard one person say they thought it was anything other than awful (having to search for where to make a comment, clicking on, waiting an hour and then having to search for where a comment would go). You think during this time he would have the brains to suspend some of the subscription barriers or the constant reminders, but no, he is a clueless as ever.

nola.com is becoming like the Caronavirus, it's around, but no one sees it.
