If they just stay off the interstate I doubt there will be a problem. If they try to get on the interstate again it shows the protesters are the ones looking for a confrontation. NOPD is letting them march on any surface street they want. The level of entitlement from the protesters thinking they can march anywhere is laughable.

If the mounted division shows up in force with a crowd pinned in on an elevated expressway it's going to fantastic to watch.

I wonder what will await them at the other end of the bridge. This will be a must watch tonight.

I'm sure JFPD has told NOPD to not let them on the bridge. You cant just allow protestors to go start a war in another parish and stand by and watch.

I disagree. We still have dead bodies hanging from a building that collapsed 8 months ago

Yeah, our tourism industry which we rely on is currently dead due to COVID, we have 136,000 S&WB customers who are currently delinquent on paying their bills, our mayor owes $90,000 in back taxes, we have an 18-story collapsed hotel with two dead bodies sticking out in the sky 7 months after the collapse, etc. Yeah, we're in great shape.

After Katrina a bunch of folks were wanting to cross the bridge to get to the West Bank. The authorities blocked them due to there being nothing of any food that the people could benefit from with no power and no services and such.
At some point JPSO flew their helicopter over them and blew away their garbage and stuff.
Probably wouldn’t be the best optics if they did that now

JPSO would gladly Annie a March or a protest, but will not put up with any stupidity.
