Just spoke with a couple of Quarter bar owners who do brisk business late night. And they just found out at the same time as the rest of us. They are livid.

I'd imagine the concert venues would be very much against this. It's not easy to drink all day at jazz fest and then stay up for the late night shows

Nowhere does it say that you cannot enter a bar at 3 AM. It says that doors must be closed. They were specific about the business remaining open. People can continue to come and go. It's just no more doors stayaing wide open. Although this ordinance is proposed to be citywide, I am sure it is targeted at the French quarter
