Louisiana is the 90 corridor from laffy to the rigolets. The rest is MS, ArK, and tx as far as I'm concerned

The mande/Covington area is quickly becoming metairie. I moved here before Katrina. The apartments, tree removal, and trashy people double every week it seems. It's sad. Can't move back to South shore because Jeff parish is shite, and the crime and terrible govt in NOLA make it only good to visit once in a while. The NS is going to look and be a crowded ugly shite hole in a few years.

That storm wasn't the primary reason for most of the problems but it surely didn't help them out either.

There are many other things to gripe about federal money being wasted on but fixing a classic American cities infrastructure isn't a waste.

Without that city, this state would be shite.
