I've just been wearing this one up my arse.

Yes, it's a little uncomfortable, but it'll beep to let me know if my fever spikes.

Search your local auto parts store website for "Infared Thermometer"

My local autozone shows store pickup available

I decided now might be a good time to check my temperature, sure enough I can't find any thermometers in this county.

I tried using my oven thermometer, but it keeps telling me I'm a zombie (95 F). I don't believe it is accurate.

We have the Braun no touch and forehead ones, they're completely useless

I honestly can't get over how shitty they are in comparison to far cheaper ear and oral thermometers

A grown man bitching about thermometers for weeks on end is weird, I agree, but I can't help myself

A thermometer like that is not likely to be well calibrated at body temperatures. It's designed to be most useful reading temperatures in the hundreds of degrees, like you'd see in an engine bay. You need a medical thermometer.

I had two of those electronic pieces of shite. One was consistent, but it just straight quit working. The other one told me I was at 95.9 degrees then 10 seconds later told me I was at 104.8. Vicks branded piece of shite.

I miss the old school mercury thermometers.

Got an ear thermometer that we should have checked when all this shite started, damn thing is all over the place with readings from 92-97 and one ear to the other can be a swing of 3-4 degrees.

Ordered Vick’s oral thermometer off eBay and it was supposed to be here on 4/6 but when I emailed the seller he said it was going out on 4/7 . . . I’m guessing I’m not getting that damn thing.
