honest question. all those sitting in carpool lines to pick up meals for their kids in the last week or so - how are they feeding themselves? are they able to afford food for themselves and not their children?

Not many people were using it anyway. A lot of food was being wasted.

I heard an adult in st landry parish interviewed on the news while picking up school lunches.

“That’s two meals I won’t have to cook so I figured I would just take advantage of it”. WTH? I don’t want to cook either.

St Landry has a summer feeding program. They load meals on buses and go to the bus stops and deliver then in the needed areasa
