Won’t affect me. I’ll still be able to take my emotional support rectum gerbil on.

A small piece of common sense left in this world.

You already have to file a bunch of paperwork if you fly with your dog overseas.
They simply want proof the dog is a certified service dog. That's it.
International flights have different rules. The ADA specifically says you do not have to have any paperwork and people are only allowed to ask two questions about your service dog. For in country flights and regs, these two disagree. You can bet someone is gonna bring it to court to rectify it.

Holy shite, Biden's administration finally did something right.
Don't worry, they'll renege after seeing 8 people on twitter complain.

Congress wrote the ADA and can change it at any time. It was Congress who told DOT to change the regs.

Yeah, so they can change it, but they haven't yet. Until they do, it's open to people taking it to court. Judiciary system can fix it too.

It’s amazing how people try to bullshite their way through life. I once had a girl who tried to rent from me with an esa. I asked what kind of animal and she said pit bull.

So no more of those fat women with a Pomeranian on flights who claim it soothes their anxiety?

I'd be more happy if they banned crying babies.

Now how am I supposed to fly with my 10’ emotional support alligator?

Do emotional support pitbulls count?

Every property I’ve ever worked on has been full of emotional support pits, huskies, German Shepard’s, etc. it’s amazing how those are the only emotional supportive animals
We all know it’s to get around breed restrictions but hopefully more regulation is on its way.

That's the fault of the property, ADA does not protect ESAs. You can block ESAs, they have no protection unless it's some state/city law.

Yeah, no kidding.

Nobody here in this town will touch that with a 10ft pole. One property started to deny, but corporate bowed out until it’s more regulated.
People are always looking for fair housing suits
Im pretty sure none of the emotional support stuff has ever gone through the ADA strictly. It basically just evolved on its own.
I always laugh my arse off at the people who call their support animals service dogs their form
Letter even comes with a vest though the animal
performs no task.

My dog wears a vest. It's not a ESA or Service dog. It's just got a small head and she will slip any collar. People shouldn't associate vests with being a service animal.

good. if you need a pet peacock to keep you calm maybe you should just avoid putting yourself in a jet propelled metal tube that goes hundreds of mile per hour in the sky.
