In the darkness of your thoughts and self-justification. Face to face staring into the mirror of God.
You wrestle and submit. Coming out of that night a changed person with a new name.
Our arguments are nothing more than a stone in another’s shoe. Some shake off the stone. Others embrace it.
Either way - truth is a struggle we all must face individually.

Completely agree. It's something you must come to on your own terms and at your own pace. But once you arrive at the land of believers, you will never go back. You'll never miss the emptiness you didn't know you had until you believe.

. . . and the visible material world is illusion that serves to hide the real truth. The visible and material world is a mirage, like shadows on a wall.
REALITY -- that is to say, those things that are TRULY real, are invisible to us now. They are outside of our direct vision for now.
We cannot see Reality and Truth right now with our eyes. We'll have to transcend or ascend out of this world of Shadows in order to see what is truly Real.

What is the most resilient parasite? Bacteria? A virus? An intestinal worm?
An idea.
Resilient... highly contagious. Once an idea has taken hold of the brain it's almost impossible to eradicate. An idea that is fully formed - fully understood - that sticks; right in there somewhere.
