So you're mad at Blumpf for the unemployed and uninsured people but you wanted him to go full authoritarian and shut down more? Makes sense

Preseason does not at all ramp up interest, that is stupid

You’re the one in a thread about NFL viewership going down. If you still watch, this thread should be irrelevant to you. Calm down, less people watching football doesn’t impact your life

500k people are displaced on the PNW. People are still displaced from the hurricane. Tons of people have cut the cord cause they broke and jobless.

There might be a tiny fraction that didn't watch because muh politics but most of those people can't see or hear anyway cause they 60 years old. They were to busy watching OAN wanking it.

Would be willing to bet folding money that you're wrong.. People are simply sick of the horseshite they're seeing and typically use sports as a release.. But when you can't escape with sports its just easier to turn it of and do something else

Hell thats what I did.. Normally I would have used Sunday to do nothing bbq and watch football.. Yesterday I went and played golf and didnt miss watching at all..

The question will be how the league continues to behave moving forward. I am not watching it anymore, but those of you saying it wasn’t THAT bad are falling for the normalization of this crap. Make it extreme then they’ll think less of it is okay. Then you slowly increase it s they won’t notice.

Given some of the idiot racists in the NFL, they will not stand for this, as you call it, “not that bad” level.

I am not falling for this ba though. Just wait and see what happens.

Only thing is if your idea of a fun day is day drinking, you can't really escape it. Every bar and restaurant had the game on, even though I wasn't interested in watching at home.

By going do something else besides watch the game, I ended up watching the game

FWIW, I'm not really the boycotting type. I just lost interest after the season before last. The constant politics in your face reaffirms my lack of interest, but I am not majorly insulted by it or anything. I am just sick of hearing about it.

Yet you come to this website to complain about constant politics? You are certainly weird to talk about politics here but complain about politics at sporting events. Is the OT more fun than watching football? You must reevaluate your priorities.

If more people are at home due to government forced Covid shut down and economic sanctions.....shouldn’t TV ratings be through the roof?

Ratings in almost every sport are down, so no. That’s not what should be happening.

Only NFL video I saw all day was a replay of Burrow's TD run.

Yeah, but will you do that every weekend? Even a lot of people who are boycotting will fold at some point. Probably even give some lame justification for folding.

It's just the way boycotting things you like goes.

An Anti-American Marxist message being parroted by a bunch of low IQ imbeciles is a good start..

Hey Thanks! Really needed the practice with chipping around the green and I should be dialed in soon.
