Also if you look at the video at the end there were lights not to far in the distance. They weren’t that out in the open ocean. No body was found so he was most likely eaten by sharks
Finding bodies in the open ocean is very, very difficult. That said, that video definitely looked like like a shark. They have bulls and tigers in that area, so it wouldn't surprise me.

No, sharks have only been mentioned on the OT. None of the witness accounts include a freaking shark carrying him off. Nor was there any blood noticed by anyone. But let's spread bullshite opinions on grainy video and speculate on someone else's kid's death

After this short clip he is seen again through the netting. If I could post a pic I would. But afte this clip the phone pans over again and he is seen floating through the rope netting toward the back of the boat. There may be a shark in the water and I agree as to what is seen in the first 3-4 seconds. However, there is a frame by frame clear shot of him at the very end of the video, when slowed down, is seen through the netting floating and above water. Not yet attacked as some are saying, and taken under.

I seriously thought the poster was making shite up until I watched the video. I'm not even saying he was attacked by a shark, but that absolutely looked like a shark that clearly spooked him and made him swim away. After that, we don't know if he slowly drifted away or got grabbed.

Yes, you can see shark swimming next to the boat and charge course towards him. At the same time he starts swimming the other way
Yes, I’ve seen that but someone earlier was saying the video shows him being taken under. I’m simply saying that isn’t the case and there is a picture of him still above water at the VERY end of the video.

Reddit also had shark comments.

Well the kids we know that were on the boat have all said the same thing. Cam was there, a wave hit him, and he was gone. I hope those posting never have to read a 30+ page thread theorizing about the death of your kid. There's no crime to be solved here, where the theorizing might be warranted. It's all just twisted and morbid curiosity. For those enjoying this, the idea that your gross curiosity is more important than this family's peace is really all the world needs to know about who you are as humans.

If there were a shark there would be a LOT of blood

If y'all really want to investigate something, look into how Grad City is rumored to have canceled their night events due to weather, but Grad Week still loaded this boat up with 400+ kids and took off. They shouldn't have even been out there.

At night in the dark water?

You are correct. You can see him moving behind the net around the 58 second mark of the slow motion video.
I don’t think he goes under. It’s an illusion caused by the boat party lights changing colors. You can see him clear when the bright white lights are on then he “disappears” when the lights change to dimmer colors.

I thought it was as well when I first watched it but someone pointed out that this is a knot in the net. I watched the slo-mo vid again and realized it wasn’t him.

THANK you. That’s the picture I have and it clearly shows him moving through the netting. A neighbor was on the boat and said they saw him and then they didn’t. The video clearly shows that much as well. Absolutely terrible situation and my prayers are sent to that family.

It's him because it's moving. The "knot" would have to disappear off of that part of the net.

Yep. Not the knot. Slow motion shows him moving. Through the rope.

He never goes under during the video either. He disappears due to an illusion caused by the boat party lights changing from bright white to dimmer colors.

Looking how small that is and how many people are packed on it, mostly rip roaring drunk, if you had a fire or other emergency it would be at least dozens killed, if not a lot more.

People really want there to be a shark for some reason. A shark may have eventually gotten him but it didn't happen during that video. Not sure what some people are watching. I guess attention spans aren't long enough to dissect a minute long slomo video.

Right as he sinks into the abyss, you can see the shark come back from underneath, grab his feet, and he’s gone.
Here’s a pic of the shark at the end.
