They ain't all like that, but they sure as hell are on their TV stations.
The capital, Bucharest, has been referred to as the "Paris of the East" for decades. Parts of it are Soviet area looking buildings, but the bars and restaurants that line the streets in Old Town are great and where the best "sight seeing" takes place!
