Before downtown was redone into something nice, and you were too old for the strip, one of the hot spots was Tampico by the mall, followed by Poet's and/or Scandals. Lots of good times in that combo.

‘Member when it was CPR?

I ‘member.

Had a friend flick a cigarette off of that balcony on to a group of guys on the dance floor and led to an all out brawl around 1994 or so.

Kenny's had BBQ at 6am but nobody was eating for some reason. DR. Sousa was the DJ in the mid to late 90's.

When techno was popular the plaza was the place to be but my all time favorite when I went to school in Lafayette was Poets on Thursday nights. $1 double captain and coke. The late 90’s to mid 2000’s was a great bar atmosphere in that area. Sunday’s listening to Cajun music at whiskey river on Henderson lake followed by a late night at city bar in Maurice with their Sunday drink specials was
always pretty good also.

I don’t remember Corner Bar. Kinda stings that my original bar job hasn’t been mentioned. Good Ole Sidebar. Man that was a blast working there.
