But those jobs are still created.

If the new facility site is around Greenbriar like they are showing on the news, thats only about 7 miles from my house. I hope the traffic doesn't change in my area

The Madison street system is already struggling to keep up with the huge number of people living there. Supposedly, they're also developing that big farm on 72, across from Target, into some kind of schmancy shopping area. I may never be able to get home.

Yep, Madison traffic is the pits. I live in HSV and work out by the airport, takes the Madison crowd twice as long to get to work.

We don't need good, stable jobs from the auto makers. We have the movie business to bank on.
The only problem there is every year we have to pay 200 million or more to keep the jobs.

If you have nothing intelligent to contribute to the conversation, then stay in your fricking trailer and watch your incest porn down in Houma. Only people who have never left the state for an extended period of time don’t realize how backwards we are. We’re currently in the national spotlight for arresting a teacher because she voiced her opinion. GTFO of here with the “Louisiana is the best ever” mentality. I’ll get the frick out in due time, but while I still live here and my extended family still lives here; I will continue to call out and bring attention to the issues in hopes that more people are motivated to fix them, despite illiterate swamp rats with 10th grade educations.
Dude. I've lived in Illinois and Kentucky, and have had extensive stints in Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee and Iowa. I've seen more of this country then you'll ever see. You're just another punk 20 year old who thinks he knows everything. Louisiana is not perfect by any means, but EVERY state has it's issues.
