Your only weapon is a traditional membale ( roughly 2 foot long african knife). You're in the Savannah so there are trees you might be able to get to but its mostly grassland.

For reference: avg female hyena 98-140 lbs avg male 89-120

Avg male lion: 400 pounds.

I'd say you're fricked either way, but hyenas can't climb trees.

Lions can somewhat.

I believe I could frick up some hyenas...no contest against a lion, though.

Hyenas are fricking ravenous and bloodthirsty.

I’d take on the lion.

Either way, you’re fricked.

I'd take the lion. You might get a lucky stick with knife and survive.

If the documentary program Lion Guard taught us anything it’s that lions are nice and hyenas are evil.

i'll take my chances with the hyenas. maybe get a good shot on one of em and they'll keep their distance while i find a tree to climb. they're scavengers, so there's a chance.

no chance with a lion.

Well, if the lion is protecting his turf, at least there is a chance that if you retreat he will just chase you off and not kill you. Hungry hyenas will wanna eat.

If the lion is not content with you getting off his territory, you're blowed up in either scenario.

Oh, so would you rather die from being mauled and eaten, or from being mauled and eaten?

tough call

If I've learned anything from the Lion Guard, it's hyenas are dumb as shite.
