Laird disagrees -- on the news he said it didn't surprise him at all, and that she was very touchy-feely.
Bottom line is, she wouldn't have been charged with "attempted carnal knowledge" unless they had some evidence.

Awesome. The whole Belhaven thing is interesting to me. I had a buddy marry a Belhaven girl - she's pretty, she takes her role as a wife and mother seriously, and she is extremely low maintenance.
When they were dating, she was content on going to a coffee shop, bookstore, or just hanging out watching a movie. He ends up meeting her parents and they are loaded. You would have never known it.
The other thing is that he's sort of goofy looking and she looks like a model. There's a joke that goofy and ugly but nice guys can hit the lottery there and change their genetics for generations.

I did not venture deep enough into Bellhaven enough to form an opinion of the women there.
