But that doesn’t make sense when the publicity you receive will be because people hate you or your business is failing/closing.

This is a case where “no publicity is bad publicity” simply isn’t true for the most part.

Operating a restaurant is hard work. She's probably tired of doing it.

Best case, some crazy (whether a right winger or a lefty running a false flag) torches the place and she gets an insurance payout.

Second best case, nobody goes there anymore and she cries on social media about the backward Louisiana bigots, and gullible libs donate a few million to her Go Fund Me account.

I don't want a bunch of bare, hairy asses & barely clothed penises around my food. This is a freaking restaurant. Probably should be a health code violation. Go out & rent a club or a venue.

Looks to me like Susan may be a contestant in said show. Starting to make sense now.

Smith Early says that for her event, you have to be 21 to attend. She also says she's planning to cover the glass windows on her restaurant so that no one outside can see in.

So it was adults only, I don’t see the problem here. If you don’t like it then don’t go. I don’t like red lobster so I don’t go there.

On the other hand I have a huge problem is when this is catered to children. 100% grooming.

I have no problem at all with drag shows, I have a huge problem if she actually received physical threats (which I honestly believe can’t be more than 1 or 2 nut cases, otherwise those would be published).

She is committing business suicide in small conservative new roads. I grew up there so I know it’s definitely a red town.

It’s funny bc she’s bitching how it’s affecting her business in NEW ROADS, LOUISIANA.

Yea like the first 12 posters said, that was just a terrible idea overall to try it there.

What exactly is drag show? Men dressed like women doing what? Dancing? Singing? Reading poetry? I don't want any of that shite while I am eating. If there is such a demand for this entertainment then somebody just needs to open a place that caters exclusively to this nonsense.

It is so freaking loud at these shows that you couldn't even digest your food. Drag shows & food & children just don't mix.

They're mindless retards that latch on to every national virtue trend.

I don't give a shite if she hosts this thing as long as kids aren't involved. But it's definitely a poor business move to host an event that has been a powder keg amongst conservatives.
