I said it the last time they thought they nailed it down and I’ll say it again. They are wrong. Now I’ve been right once and they’ve been right none.

Trust the science.

I mean until it is proved wrong… seems like a frequent occurrence in the science community.

This information makes the Fermi Paradox and the Kardashev scale even more relevant... It appears even more so that we are behind a Great Filter.

It is actually 40 billion years old

I know you are joking, but back in the '50s, I recall the age of the universe being about 20 billion. But at that time I had no way to 'look it up' or knew anyone who was interested enough to talk about it.

Didn't even think about it again until about 20 years ago and was 'surprised' to learn that it was now 13.8 billion.

Everything cycles, so the gas combustion engine may actually delay the next ice age.

Have they figured out the axis of evil yet?

Never mind. Just looked it up.

They're just pretending like it's not a thing and the discovery never happened

Laughable people think they can calculate the age of the universe.

See? That's the thing about science. If evidence disproves current beliefs, the science changes.

But no Christian challenges the Bible.
