My mom drove a few Mercedes E wagons growing up before the whole SUV thing happened. I would totally buy my wife a wagon now. I like the Mercedes and Audi wagons. This Porsche wagon is pretty OG too.

its hideous. the people who own one don't realize bc they never have to look at when they are in it
I hated them when I saw them in photos. When I saw one in person for the first time, I fell in love with them. It's the ultimate sedan.

is this the best wagon you've seen?
Nope, Ferrari FF takes it for me.
They have recently abandoned the 4-door look, but kept the full-sized back seats. They also changed the name from "FF" to "GTC4 Lusso"

If I was spending $100k on a vehicle, it wouldnt be on a high performance station wagon.

I'd take the Ferrari FF over the Panamera Turismo.

all hatchbacks should have the floor that slides out like the mercedes for easy loading and unloading

No, because I could easily name 10 cars in the same price range or lower that I would rather have

We are holding off on a new car for the cross-country version coming later this year.
We've had 2 XC70s and loved them. Traded the first one in on a new Highlander after 11 years because the wife wanted a 3rd row. Hated it and sold it a year later. Bought a 15 yr old XC70 to drive until the v90xc comes out.

The roofline looks way better than the regular Panamera.

It is a nice station wagon.. but if I'm going to spend the money to get a Porsche, I wouldn't be getting a station wagon Porsche.

A Subaru Outback provides the same functionality at 3/4 of the price.

+1 on Volvo. When I think wagon, I think Volvo. And that's not a bad thing.
I wouldn't scoff at the V60 Polestar. Just slightly slower than the AMG EClass and Caddilac V wagons.
