What does one do with a $40 signed picture? Is it worth something later?
I just dont get these actors and athletes today asking for $. If you pay to get in then you should sand in line for a pic or signature. Asking for $ is low and sad.

Probably was the autograph/photo combo, but yeah, it's insane what they charge now.
There were 4 actors from walking dead there on Saturday (Darryl, Carl, Hershel, and Glenn). If you wanted all four autographs, you would probably spend about $300.
To me, not worth it. I think just meeting them is cool enough.

I was impressed with the AT-ST.

I went Saturday. Not worth the price imo.
Eh, different strokes for different folks. I think it was $35 to get in on Saturday, and to me, just seeing all the pop culture stuff was cool. Some of the booths had comics from 40's and 50's. Seeing those alone was kind of worth it.

You pay a chunk to get in and then if you want to have any photo ops you gotta pay big $ for that.
$35 isn't a chunk. But yeah, celebs are expensive. One, a lot of their booking fees are high and also the con has to make money on their appearance to recoup. Is what it is. My gf lost her mind when she saw Shatner was there. I thought it would be cool to meet some of them, but no one I would really pay for.

Nothing but art and stuff for sale
Uh...not sure what you expected. My favorite part was walking down the artist alley. A ton of talented people were there.

This year the only "celebs" I had heard of were Shatner and a guy from Walking Dead
Then you just don't watch a lot of movie or TV. New Orleans out did itself this year with the celebs they had. Better than the majority of shows put on by Wizard World.

Cheap compared to Chris Evans
Was he wearing his banana split costume from Not Another Teen Movie?

I went and had a pretty good time.
Met Bruce Campbell and Edward James Olmos and picked up a signed RHCP Drum Head from one of the vendors.
It was really crowded
Also watched Shatner's and Campbell's panels which were both great.

Worth it to me. A lot of cool art and costumes to see, and the Gotham and Bruce Timm panels were excellent.
And that GI Joe aircraft carrier.........
