So you are to blame for this fricking idiot.

Desi was so clearly the smarter, more pro-business candidate. I cannot believe anyone as smart as yourself voted for this idiot.

I literally just called and told her she had lost my vote. What else do you want me to do?

And when we organize a peaceful protest at the steps of City Hall the media will paint us as corona spreaders

You think there were viable republican options in that election?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Ron Foreman the last decent candidate for mayor that Nola had a chance to vote for?
It was not long after Katrina and I just remember thinking he would be a good leader.

I really really hope for you all, that with all of the stupidity that Destorya has done that it may end up pushing for a somewhat decent person to run and be elected.

no idea. don't care about new orleans elections. my comment was about "why party matters". party matters because that's why new orleans is still locked down despite every covid measurable on the decline.

democrats don't want to open back up. that's why party matters.

She is not going by the federal guidelines. She has her own guidelines, but will not reveal what they are.

I get your point, but in the real world, generally only crappy people run for mayor and the residents have to pick the lesser of two evils.

Kind of the same way in this shithole state. We've had a lot of bad governors for a long arse time.

I don't like democrats at all, but Latoya is not an idiot because she's a democrat. It really has nothing to do with it.

did you vote for this democrat mayor?
Political arrogance knows no party because they believe you are too stupid to know what’s good for you but smart enough to pick the person who does.

I can't remember if they ran in the same election, but I liked Rob Couhig over him.

Pre-Katrina Nagin was the best mayor I've seen in New Orleans.

i didn't call her an idiot. i said she's a democrat, and democrats are reluctant to open their cities.

that's why party matters.
