Damn, I should have submitted my bid for $15 million. I was having a hard time making a profit at just 15 though

Train tickets to DC or NYC would be cheaper.

…that’s $80,000, not $8,000.

These Democrat leaders have found a way to get federal funds to fix the homeless situation in their cities just to pay the homeless to stay homeless. It's corrupt as hell and NOLA is no different than LA, HOU or any other major city.

Having homeless people in your city seems like a gold mine according to these numbers.

200 people? What about the rest?
Posted on 1/16/25 at 7:24 pm to lsufan1971
OP should retitle the post with how much each homeless person is costing.
$80k a piece.

They should "re-home" them to work crews clearing debris in California.

Meth trailer and burned down in 3/4 days - don’t take long.

What is the kickback on $100k worth of services provided, but charged $16 million for?
I bet the Destroya' can ride first class to Ghana, one week per month, for life.

They need to just load them on buses and dump them in Jackson, MS.

They should bus them to California, weather is much better than Louisiana.
I spent 1 1/2 years in California in the Navy which included 2 summers.I would much rather be homeless in California.

You just have to make the beds available and set rules for “safety”.
No Drugs
No sex offenders
No violent offenders
No pets
And an 8PM curfew
Then you’ll only have maybe 3 homeless in the whole place. The rest will be on the streets farther down from the superdome.

$80,010 for 90 days/3 months rent?
Are they staying at the Waldorf Astoria?

For 16 million I would have picked them all up with their belongings, transported them to my house to live for 90 days and cooked 3 meals a day.

i'll definatly take that

These Superbowl, Olympics, World Cup, temporary relocations are such an easy tell of the disingenuous sleezy failed nature of our Government, Politicians, Inner City Mayors, City Councils etc..
And why society is failing, in managed decline, heading towards total collapse. Lack of genuine interest, or fortitude,etc..to truly rectify the real societal issues.
Hypocritical poseurs only worried about putting a temporal false facade for the Jet Set Bacchanal.
Hint Hint..we all know Rio has favalas and the ocean is your toilet water.

Until the mental issues, drug use, insect infestations and overall stench are revealed.
