New Orleans Party Buses are under fire tonight

The Koronavirus Karen’s are screaming about the New Orleans East Party Buses on Canal Street tonight.
“At this time, there are no licensed/permitted party buses in the City of New Orleans. Any party bus that operates is doing so illegally.
The #NOPD will enforce these regulations.“

Most of the party buses are illegal anyway.

I can confirm this truth. When I went to get my tour license for TulaneLSU’s Poorboy Tours of New Orleans, I was turned away and told not until the pandemic would such licenses be available again.

I haven't really thought about it until now, but this COVID thing has been good for that because it has been really nice not hearing party buses stopping close to where I live blaring some bounce song with the same repeating line for 15-minutes straight driving everyone to the brink of insanity. Glass is always half full.

I have a three month waiting list currently, so I have postponed presale tickets. The 350 was running earlier today and it even moved. Then it started emitting black smoke so I turned it off. When I tried to restart it, it didn’t even turn over. I fear that without a good mechanic helping, the tours will never start. If and when they do I will offer every OT member a free trip.
