It’s only for the period that was supervised by third parties. If you get one now it’s legit because a cop signs off on it.

I still dont see how that holds up in court since the cop signing the ticket doesnt verify the drivers identity before issuing it.

I got one once for speeding on a road I had just turned onto. No speed limit signs between my turn and the camera. Couldn’t see the driver in the photo, and the ticket was written to both my wife and I. I responded with a letter saying that we weren’t both driving at the same time, and it was preposterous to suggest we were. I said some BS about if that’s the diligence they were going to go after my case with, let me know so I could just represent myself.
About a month later they responded with something about my wife’s vehicle being photographed and that the tickets are written to the owners. I told them that’s in no way, shape, or form how due process works, and that I would gladly drive the vehicle into their courtroom so they could proceed with their case against it. But otherwise they would have to come up with evidence as to who was driving the vehicle, and that it wasn’t my fricking job to find out who.
Good times, good times. I do that shite a lot actually, writing ridiculous letters, reviews, surveys. Maybe I have too much free time...

N.O. has assets. File a civil suit, get the judgement, go after assets. I'm sure a class action is in the works as we speak.
