New Orleans Metro Area demographics

Pretty interesting graphs showing racial demographics by parish. White and Black populations have gone down while Hispanics tripled. St. Bernard and St. John have changed the most since 2000.

New Orleans is a sanctuary city. The South will one day be known as an area where Spanish people live. The dream still lives on for the Conquistadors.

Katrina is the reason. Blacks and whites moved to BR and Houston, Hispanics moved in to rebuild

Not surprised. All across the country the Hispanic population is growing by leaps and bounds. Meanwhile whites have almost stopped having kids and the blacks are gradually lowering their birth rates.
