Nice. I'm less than a 2 minute walk.

I believe I clocked a normal Wednesday night walk at 52 seconds door-to-door when we lived on Lyons

I miss that bar, but I don't miss that tiny arse condo

New Orleans leads THE NATION in small businesses closed in Leisure and Hospitality and is Second in the the nation in the number of small businesses closed.

When I think of the most incompetent mayors across the US we have officially crossed the finish line. Turn out the lights this city is officially done and its going to take at least a decade to come back.

New Orleans is largely tourism based, and that industry has suffered during Covid. Even if everything were wide open, it would be down.

On top of that, the locals can’t sufficiently support local businesses when they are mostly shut down for 15 weeks due to a draconian governor and incompetent mayor.

Texas is a great example of blue city mayors and red state governor

Abbot has to step (no joke) in and stop our trash county judge from prolonging the shutdowns.

Houston should have never shut down.

Abbots bar restriction is stupid.

If you were smart enough to comprehend they are referring to Metro areas...

but you're not that smart and we all know it

and your graph is 2 weeks old

If you want to draw attention to yourself post an article like this with facts

With City's Economic Future in Doubt, Can New York Unions Stop the Cuts?
October 12, 2020

quote:

It will take 10 years to “dig out” of the current situation in New York City following extended business closures aimed at slowing the spread of the novel coronavirus and the “sense of lawlessness that’s affecting the city,” Peebles Corporation CEO Don Peebles told “Mornings with Maria” on Monday.

The real estate entrepreneur added that he thinks that “when New York comes back 10 years from now, it’s going to come back very differently than what we know it to be.”

“It will be a very different city with far less traffic and retail and commerce I believe,” Peebles said.

The number of September shooting incidents in the city increased 127% year-over-year from 67 shootings in 2019 to 152 shootings in 2020; September murders spiked 40 percent from 246 people killed in 2019 to 344 people killed in 2020, according to New York City Police Department data released earlier this month.

MrLSU anyone who says “bruh” is an idiot and par for the course with this iguy who is on the losing side of an argument to try to an infer MSA versus Specific parish. Just do what everyone else does when he posts and ignore him. You didn’t limit this to the Orleans Parish line and everyone can see this.

not a great infographic to convey the info. The way the bar is laid out from -50% to 0% makes it seems like anything above half in blue is a positive outcome. In reality this bar should be all red, only the shade of red should change to convey whether cities are fricked or majorly fricked
