People wanna be scared man. The crime doesn't bother me. The stench does tho.

Garbage pick up has been horrible in new orleans for a while now. This is the kind of stuff that gets people wondering where their taxes go….
Murders you can avoid by being careful.
People gotta dispose of garbage tho

Nobody needs Tucker thinking for them, after watching that segment & for myself having lived in NOLA since I was 45 years old, and one of my ancestors actually with Bienville when they founded NOLA in 1699, I can think for myself. Nola has become a shite-hole, 3rd world Banana Republic. I’ve had a gun to my head twice uptown, a knife in my side on Bourbon & was jumped by about 10-12 “young thugs” that eventually blindsided me with a baseball bat fracturing my left cheek bone and woke up in Charity Hospital. The reverse discrimination in the city is insanely bad, double standards everywhere, nobody is safe, NOPD is inept & overwhelmed, there is no criminal Justice. The city survives on the fact that the Mississippi River is irreplaceable in the fact that it’s a mega port that feeds the world, NO OTHER PORT IN AMERICA has the “grain infrastructure” To export the amount of food that we do, as well as other commodities and of course O&G sector. Even for the River, the Port Authorities. River Pilots and dockage fees have ran almost 50% of shipping volume to other ports along the USG COAST. Houston, Galveston, Beaumont, Corpus, Mobile etc…. Thank those groups very much (with emphasis on River Boat Pirates aka Pilots- most prima Donna group in the country- if you wanna talk good old boy racism and politics, look no further, they finally started doing some diversity years back, but that is a corrupt group that chases business out of La.)

And no other city has the European Architecture & Culture that we do (so it’s been strong enough to combat corruption on a Haiti type government level). But I finally had enough of the city & moved to the NS 2 years ago, it’s not my favorite place neither (but kids are safe, can leave doors unlocked type of safe, great public schools, better family town etc) but I’m actually looking to move out of La. Once my kids grow up. If I could pack them up now, I’d be out of here, the entire state of La. is a cesspool Banana Republic destined for corruption and failure. Huey P. Long sold us out back in the 1920’s-1930’s when he brokered a deal where Mountain West States make more money on O&G royalties off the coast of La. Then we do, if he hadn’t done that, we would be the Dubai of the USA. But we have to live with all the environmental backlash aka Cancer Alley, and our coastline erosion. If we had our own money & Huey Long not sold us away, and we didn’t have Dominion voting machines and corrupt politics, La & NOLA would be the jewel of the south. Instead, it’s moving closer to Haiti type levels.

Anyways, excuse my ramble & my typos typing on my phone, lol

Your graph stops in 16. 19 was lowest number of homicides in 5 decades. Rate this year surpasses early 2000s and is heading up quick. If that graph continued it'd reflect a tremendous surge at the end.

Trash pickups and keeping the streets clear from thugs doing donuts should be easy, not in nola or br

After watching that segment, I don’t see how any tourist would go to NO. Sad

New Orleans has been a post apocalyptic dump for many years. It is a 36 hour town. There is no reason to be in the state of Louisiana any longer than that and hasn’t been for a long, long time.

These NOLA potholes have made a mockery of my 2010 Camry suspension in the past year that I've been here

Good! Then everything is perfect and nothing should change. Keep voting for Democrats and their policies. We wouldn't want to see anything different attempted.

Way to own the Cons, BTW.

They are kinda all part if the same....public services.
Shootings my not be your own biggest issue, but to tourists/visitors, it matters more

It's a shithole from that standpoint.

I didn't need anyone to tell me.
It's obvious from the news.
The lunatics have taken over the asylum in NOLA, starting with city hall down...

I know you’re from there, but be objective; Louisiana is one of the nation’s poorest, dumbest, and dirtiest states. These are indisputable facts. I’ve been to 40 some odd states and Louisiana is easily one of the worst.
