If SFP is freaking out about this we’re all good as dead

Chef, will you be complying with said directives if they do come down?

The ol' "call them a Nazi" debate strategy. Bold choice.
It’s a valid point in a discussion about government overreach, suspension of rights, and vilainization of groups of people.
SFP has literally multiple times in this thread said he would happily go along with any government actions or restrictions as long as they don’t personally effect him.

You’re a complete fricking idiot adding nothing to the discussion. Your fixation with Nazis is equally idiotic.

And predictably, most didn't listen.

So Why should the government be suspending people’s personal freedoms right now rather than simply encouraging people to use those freedoms responsibly
because, as you said,

But when New Orleans generates 60%+ of state tax revenue Grant, Morehouse, Carroll, and parishes of the like just spend the piss out of it.

Yeah, it's weird seeing a few posters who I would assume rage against shutdown say we have to take one for the team.

are you joking?
you don't think the number of infections, rate of infections, and other variables dealing with infection should change how we deal with this?
do you believe we should have equal doctors/ICU beds in every city, too?

I’m supposed to be a groomsman in a wedding in NOLA April 4th. What are the odds that actually happens?

people weren't "using those freedoms responsibly" as you stated
So in your logic:
People have guaranteed rights from the government.
The government tells the people they sure wish they didn’t have the rights or at least didn’t exercise them.
The people tell the government to get bent.
The government is justified in forceably taking those rights away because the people didn’t peacefully surrender them?
You’re comfortable with that?

Yes - the systematic genocide of millions of people is totally the same as people being forced to stay indoors because of a global pandemic. How did I not see it before?

New Orleans is going to become a shite show, possibly of close to Katrina-like conditions (without the restriction in movement)
the population of Nola is defying all reasonable suggestions to combat their impending issues
that is going to lead to a severe response, that won't be limited to Nola
