Wut?

There are plenty vaxxed and unvaxxed at all of those things except in the peoples republic of nola

The "severe cases" he's referencing are the people in the hospital and deaths. If you're in the hospital or have died you're not out in public spreading the virus.

We track all of that data internally I was the same person that said previously infected weren’t getting reinfected in previous waves, and was downvoted by the Karen’s and praised by you This variant clearly evades prior immunity

I asked, many answered. As for praise...

Yea, his reply was one of the stranger ones in this thread.

recommends wearing a mask indoors regardless of vaccination status. While vaccines and boosters can significantly reduce one's chances of being hospitalized or dying from COVID, masking adds an additional layer of protection from the Omicron surge. #lagov

Where were these people before they went to the hospital?

I.E. He's seen the data and knows the vaccine does nothing to stop the spread yet he's going to push for workplace testing and vaccine mandates for the unvaccinated to slow the spread.

Somewhere else without a severe case.

Not really. The non N95 masks don't really do much for you even if you are wearing them properly

Given that he posted data, and was seeming to extrapolate from that data, I would liken it to a prediction, not an assumption.

So if 3 shots don’t work I’m supposed to put my faith in a piece of fabric?

Were told to wear cloth for the MOST DEADLY VIRUS ever and now for the weakest strain we are being told to wear a N95.....

=

this surge will diminish naturally (just like elsewhere), but JBE will claim savior status due to masks that don’t work worth a shite.

Sent home without any semblance of ambulatory care.

How long is this wave gonna last? Seems like it burned out pretty fast in South Africa.

Wear a mask, stay home, don’t celebrate with anyone outside of your household for a virus so bad they are still bribing people to get vaccinated

I think that there is no way to know, and you were posting YOUR assumption as a means to push a narrative.

Obviously nobody knows for sure. My take is that JBE is looking at data from surges elsewhere, gauging expectations for when things should begin to diminish, and is trying to make the most out of it politically.
