The new $1 billion terminal at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport is getting "finishing touches" over the next few weeks, but there is still no firm date for when it will open, airport officials said Thursday.

The contractors and airport officials said they still expect an opening "in the fall."

Isn't it Kennah-brah's lack of permitting and building codes that let this project get to this state?

Just fricking firebomb it and use the old terminal forever.

This is beyond comical how fricking horrendous this has been.

How often does this sort of thing happen?

A new terminal built and all. I only know of a few and that is because of the massive delays and frickups

Do new airports usually open on time?

technically speaking the airport, and the land it’s on is New Orleans and not Kenner. I don’t think Kenner has any jurisdiction there
