I have a lot of great memories at MSY. Meeting certain people, traveling to far off places for the first time, fricking a girl on the level 4 parking..

As someone who has worked for an airline at msy for a whole lot longer than you and have seen (and have) the blueprints on my phone there is nothing about this airport that will make it easier for the workers. Lets start with the simple.... less than HALF of the baggage claim belts at the new airport. 6 at the new and other than 1 and 2 it will be a first come first serve deal. Delta will have issues parking certain planes. Other airlines will have less than a foot of clearance between wingtips. A new airport was needed. Not this airport.

What about for travelers and parking? Turning right from airline drive, I've seen so much unnecessary confusion from drivers who choose to frick up right there when merging.

Yeah the jet bridges looked pretty close together. Won't be a lot of room to work with when those pilots park those planes.
