Nothing says "I'm a boss" like having your baby momma roll up in a GWagon.

Those things are incredible

I spend my time in Birmingham and Tuscaloosa, it ain't a matter of following, it's a matter of having open eyes. Not to mention the 18 years I grew up in a rural Alabama town.

It's more like a tragicomedy.

The Chevy Colorado and Toyota Tacoma max out at around 1,600 pounds, while Mercedes is claiming the X-Class will be rated to “more than” 2,425 pounds with a towing max of over 7,700 pounds.

A different vilified flag would be more appropriate.

Payload? No. LINK

Shorten the wheelbase by a foot, chop the bed and you've got a stew going.

payload is just hauling in bed

towing is pulling something

quote:

but a 2016 Tacoma V6 with the Tow package is no slouch. Its maximum SAE-certified towing capacity is up 300 pounds for a total of 6,800 pounds on the Access Cab 4x2. That figure drops to 6,700 pounds for the slightly heavier Double Cab, and you can subtract 300 pounds from each for their respective four-wheel-drive versions. Payload ratings are up across the board, with the maximum figure rising from 1,500 to 1,620 pounds. The 2016 Tacoma retains the composite bed from last year, which makes the expense of an accessory bedliner unnecessary. A weather-protected 400-watt 120-volt power outlet remains, and the once-optional deck rail tie-down system is now standard.

I think they've been smart in expanding their customer base. Those two are $30,000 cars that get young people to become Mercedes customers, hopefully for life.

As a 20 year old, I can honestly say I wouldn't even consider buying one of those. I would rather spend the money on a W221. Better looking, better quality, and it doesn't make you look like a 30k millionaire.
