Just drove a Camry rental and that car has horrible visibiky. I felt my vision was obscured when I looked anywhere but straight ahead. Even then, the hood sloped in such a way it caused issues when parking.

In that case Camry.
That being said, my priorities do not align with this particular buyer.

In case you dither in your decision making and lose out on either of the two cars, I found you this Corolla.

Well look no further.
The 1999 Toyota Corolla.
Let's talk about features
Bluetooth: nope
Sunroof: nope
Fancy wheels: nope
Rear view camera: nope...but it's got a transparent rear window and you have a ***** neck that can turn.

There are little to no car enthusiasts that are avid Toyota lovers and there's a reason for that. Toyota puts no passion into the driving experience. Toyota sees their cars as appliances and places reliability over anything else. It saddens me to see so many people that are fine with an absolutely boring car to drive.
I'm also engineer that is employed by a rival company so I do have a bias.

Don't take any advice from this guy.
I mean really, so you’re going to take a note out, and pay 5% interest, take 5 years too pay the car off, and it already comes with 40,000 miles. By the time you have the car paid off you will have 90,000 miles, probably more. Sure the engine and transmission will run like a champ, but you’ll probably have ripped seats, fading interior, broken switches, window regulators going out. Toyota makes their drivetrain indestructible, but their interior sure the hell isnt.

The bottom line is most people are looking for a driving appliance and most actually benefit from them.
Both my wife and I own helmets and have a M3 and a 911 Turbo S in the garage but the vast majority of miles are put on our Lexus car and SUV. For 90% of our street driving Lexus makes a better tool for the job. Being in an exciting car in bumper to bumper traffic is excruciating and that's where many people spend the bulk of their time. In BR traffic I'd rather have a Toyota or Lexus, on the Tail of the Dragon or Barber Motorsport I'd rather be in something more intersting.

The new Camry’s are hideous, but nothing is uglier than a modern Lexus.
