I saw that article too. It’s definitely a bummer when new bills could impact hemp products like THC gummies. I’ve tried THCA before, and it had a nice, smooth effect without being overwhelming. It’s always a good idea to keep an eye on these developments, especially if you use these products regularly. If the bill does pass, it might be worth exploring other options or making sure you stock up on your favorites while you can. I hope this gets sorted out favorably for everyone who relies on these products!
Definitely a store owner

When north Louisiana Republicans reinforce the stereotype of north Louisiana Republicans, they just make it that much harder for themselves to get elected to state office.
We should break off everything north of Opelousas… real Louisiana has nothing in common with them

Why tf does AI have an account here? And how can you tell?
Pretty easy to tell. An account with no former post history responds to a comment 5 pages in to a 4 month old thread. The opening line is always something made to sound generically welcoming or conversational like "That's really funny", "Good to know", or in this case, "I saw that article too" even though the poster the AI responded to wasn't talking about any article.

I've been pretty dismayed at this shite lately. Facebook is becoming literally 90% bot controlled and I have no idea what the endgame is.
Chicken needs to put some more AI protocols in here or it will destroy the board.

distillers who are pro-alcohol over cannabinoids!
They are already having a bad week, home distilling just became legal due to nationwide injunction on enforcement of laws prohibiting distillation at home.

They always tackle the easy ones first. Tough stuff goes onto the back burner.

Definitely what a shithole state should be worried about instead of its cratering economy, laughable education system, falling apart roads, soaring crime, etc.
You forgot laughable healthcare system

Why though? What’s the purpose?

My brother commented/tagged me to post that was a video of the Grateful Dead yesterday, and an account under the name "Phil Lesh" liked his post. I clicked on the profile and it seemed AI generated, very obviously not Phil Lesh. Then I get this message today. So odd.

Weed is still illegal here in Georgia but they are selling flower and other stuff with the THCA, which from what I understand does not get you high in its natural state but turns into THC when you heat and smoke it.
I would assume you lose some potency but I can't swear to that. It wouldn't surprise me if the idiots here wind up following Louisiana and ban that to. Can't let folks enjoy themselves you know

In this case, I'd guess it's an industry created algorithm intended to promote a positive outlook on hemp products. Likely pushed out on platforms catering to areas where either the industry is threatened or an emerging market.

New hemp THC products could be outlawed in Louisiana in proposed bill.

Farm income is down in 2023-2024. John Deere just laid off 2,000 salaried employees. Louisiana is one of the few states where Cannabis can be grown outdoors cheaply and efficiently.
1). Louisiana could immediately raise substantial income from small acreage grow permits.
2). The only flourishing retail within Baton Rouge city limits appears to be the stores selling hemp products. Why are we shutting down any potential economic recovery?
3). The official licensed growers from the state that I have seen in person were not high value top tier college of agriculture types. They were gross heavily tattooed females with questionable odors/toenail fungus.

It wasn’t banned, bill was amended and the law that passed had minimal restrictions.

Good Day Farms has stores in other states. He is not solely dependent upon the ten dispensaries. The ten dispensaries are 100% dependent upon Louisiana patients.
