Well your kids shouldn't be hanging around drag shows, so they should be safe.

Well apparently if these freaks had their way, they'd be putting these on at every public elementary school

If this were exact opposite world. Meaning it was a 2020 tv show about straight conservative white men in San Fransisco. If the same folks arguing the Bible Belt, middle class, conservative small town Ruston should deal with it and that it’s none of their business, would say the same and fight for the same acceptance?

Make no mistake, they picked Ruston on purpose so HBO could frame this as some heroic endeavor to show how these backwoods redneck savages were in need of conversion to the church of progressivism.

They could've done this in NOLA, but they did this to portray small town LA as some bastion for nazis.

I spent 4 years of my life in Ruston. There are a lot and I mean a lot of good people in that part of the world. I hope they stick to their upbringings and beliefs and don’t fall prey to this forced nonsense.

its Ruston

I'm sure a small crowd of mostly curious students will go to the show at Sundown and that will be it.

Is that where they're doing this? Sundown?

I don’t disagree. But it will be the talk of the town and anyone from there who says anything otherwise online will be a target for the Twitter mob. There’s no denying that

I know Sundown has always been the hippy hangout but I'm curious to see how this affects bidness in the future.

HBO is probably hoping to film protesters. They might even get some Borat type reactions from locals.

Like I said, they could've done this elsewhere but they chose Ruston for a specific purpose. They're hoping to make these dipshits victim-heroes while portraying the people of Ruston as a bunch of rabid, hate-filled rednecks.

I'm willing to bet it will be more "angry rednecks that reluctantly come around to acceptance in the end"

Many of my family members are members of this mafia, they don't put up with much nonsense.

The porn man had signs all up and down I-20 between Shreveport and Monroe, somehow they got rid of him and his filthy business
