I've reached the acceptance level of grief over this. I still miss those page numbers but I withdraw my threat to cancel my premium membership over this issue.

It's like walking into a room. and there are groups here and there. Based on the people you see (thread titles) and how many people are in the that group (page links numbers) it feels more like a....forum.
I jump around too maybe I wanna see pg 2 first then the last or last page then jump back. It's stupid ,but I do it because of the aforementioned attempt at an analogy.
Tldr those page links gave the site a more lively vibe.

How about just... changing it back. This is... just really, really bad.

Why go with 3 dots instead of Edit/Bookmark/Report post ovals?
It doesn't make it clean. It makes it less functional. Extra clicks are not a good thing even though this is what's all the rage now.
I just really want someone to explain why 3 dots instead of just having the boxes right there is an improvement? What does the site gain with this?

Three dots is cleaner, more simplistic. Screens are small and less is more.

Maybe I'm the only one but I've been visiting the forum a little less since the pages aren't visible, it started with the Rant.
It's just a pain to have to click through. Yeah it's a minor thing but it seems like everything these days requires more clicks to see something that in the past was right there in the layout. It doesn't make any sense to remove convenient user functionality.

do you have any zoom settings being used on that browser for TD that might make them smaller?
