We don't necessarily have to go back to carburetors, but there's too much electronic bullshite on vehicles right now. Too many problems and too expensive to fix. Just not worth it to buy a new vehicle.

Perfect reason to have a manual transmission and you could roll start the thing.
I love manual transmissions on a sports car. I hate them on a pickup.
Push started many a car back in the day, mine as well as others.

Check out the POS holding up traffic all broken down the other day.
This board would have you think this could never happen.

New trucks are such garbage. Have a 25 year old Ford in my garage to use as needed. It starts every.single.time. like it was brand new. Iron block. No chips, no cylinder shut-off, no heated washer fluid, no plastic engine components, no navigation, no mercy. Could completely rebuild the whole truck for about $3K and an LMC truck catalog if I had to.
The truck market is out of control right now with paying $50-60K for an aluminum and plastic POS that at best is good for 5 years if you are lucky but with an 84 month note lol.
