What I don’t understand are the restaurant and bar owners who are completely on board with covid restrictions/closings even though the restrictions are directly impacting their livelihoods in a negative way.

She’s getting away with it because at this point it looks like she’s running un-opposed for re-election. Everyone who is a serious candidate seems to think she’s got backing from the national democrats and it’s a lost cause.

God I hope a serviceable candidate emerges. Another 4 years of her nonsense might even drive me out of the city, and I really love it here.
