Again….how are you 100% certain your child will never be exposed to polio.
With travel across the world readily available and other parents taking an anti vax stance like you..the chance of being exposed to polio is not a zero chance thing.

If something is injected into the bloodstream directly vs being first digested, it certainly has an easier route to the brain.
But you need certain molecular characteristics to pass the blood-brain barrier. You seem hellbent on repeating a nonsensical point for some reason. Why? A shot in the arm isn't going to go directly into the brain or the blood. It is going to be mediated by the immune system through dendritic cells and macrophages, as the injections are intramuscular, not intravenous. Again, the key point is that the injections are intramuscular. Understand this before you reply.

Yes nonexistent because of vaccines but nonexistent nonetheless.

Well there is plenty of sources online that directly refute you. Yet you make it seem like it’s dumb not to agree with you.
Posting a link to "Holistic Nurse" doesn't help your argument the way you think it does.

Your position is dumb and your source is bullshite. You made the wrong choice for your child. You should feel bad. How can you sleep at night knowing that you made the wrong choice for your child?

Do what you feel is right for you. It’s the tetanus vaccine. Some believe in vaccines, others don’t.

You are being lied to by that source. It is nonsense.

People who don’t get the basic necessary (non-COVID) vaccines for their children should be forced to homeschool them.

there are no safe vaccines

You take a risk assessment when you give your kids vaccines.
Google the effect of some of those diseases on kids, then get back to me about how the vaccines are worse.

If you’re going to cut out vaccines, cut out chicken pox. Our kids got pretty much every one they recommended, but I did think twice about chicken pox. Don’t skip MMR, Tdap, or any of the big/possibly deadly virus vaccines.

Yea, my question may have been misstated. I intended the question to be for if our family and those that would be around the baby should get the vaccine BEFORE we get her vaccinated
But the question got taken in a different direction than I intended
Thanks for the genuine response, however.

Skipping chicken pox is dumb.

If it’s been eradicated what are you worried about?

FWIW, I got the Tdap booster as an adult when the school I worked with had two whooping cough outbreaks within a school year. It isn’t bad and I usually have side effects from medicines and vaccines. It’s worth it to ask family to do so to protect your kid.

Missed a booster with our son years ago and he managed to get it. It is not a fun experience.
This vaccine has been around for decades and it works. Do not let the stuff that happened in COVID cloud your judgment, talk to your own doctor, if you don't trust him or her you need to find a new doctor. Most medical professionals are not trying to pull one over on anyone.

Unfortunately the medical community has destroyed its credibility during and after Covid, so just want to see what’s out there.
