will be starting a new role as a “Lecturer of African American & American Literature and Composition in the English department at Auburn University”

I am sure that will be a totally non-biased class without an agenda the professor is trying to push.

The self-described “radical anti-racist white (Jewish) teacher”

Every. Time.

Lets see a Jewish "professor" that teaches Black Studies, Queer Theory and and Critical Prison Studies? This twink is a walking stereotype I would expect to see at Berkley not in Auburn.

Why do we allow these people into our universities? This post-modern drivel that is continually being used to poison the minds of the weak creating a perpetual cycle of victimhood? We try to claim that we dont have the same problems that the blue states like California have and yet here we have some guy who probably claims "War Eagle" is a microaggression of some sort in his endless quest to find more things to bitch about.

What a fricking clown world we live in, academia is so rotten right now, maybe we should have kids not go to college this year. That way these schools have to find ways to cut costs and can gut these departments of this quasi-marxist filth.

And this is why good southern universities will go to shite......WTF was Auburn thinking?

I thought SEC schools don't put up with this type of nonsense?

Heck no man, we go way back with that stuff.

I think there was an old episode of The Dukes of Hazzard where Uncle Jesse was super into queer theory.

This new professor just happens to line up with TulaneLSU’s visit to Auburn. I don’t believe in coincidences.

I see a book deal in his future about how horribly he was treated by the students, faculty and admin of the university.

Nope they’re all over the country.

My wife encountered a few of these types getting her M.Ed at UGA. Heck, I saw a few when we were undergrads at LSU in the early 2000s. I just wasn’t aware of what they were really all about at the time, and that’s the problem really. They have direct access to fairly intelligent kids who aren’t quite experienced enough to critically think through their nonsense.

The reality is that if you go to any university in the US, you have to take humanities/social sciences and you’re going to encounter them and their batshit crazy world-views.

Well, no one would have if he didn’t feel the need to broadcast it.

If he’s a pacifist and doesn’t want to use the phrase, that’s perfectly fine. Good on him. But broadcasting it via Twitter unsolicited makes him a virtue-signaling asshat.
