Further proof that instead of offering an education, our institutions of higher learning have now become leftist indoctrination camps.
What’s sad is you’re too stupid to realize that instead of being educated, you’ve simply been indoctrinated.

Min wage jobs havent been living wage jobs since the mid 60s when the great inflationary period hit.
Anyone over 18 who has to work fast food has major problems and will require government help.

Why did I even go to college?

Not at all.
I know plenty of credentialed people who are total morons when it comes to the real world implementation of what Academia has taught them to be the unquestioned truth.
People like you are as worthless as tits on a boar hog when it comes to functioning in the real world.
I'll take the word of entrepreneurs with scarred hands and my own life experience over some narcissistic idiot on a message board with a worthless degree from a Liberal diploma mill.

Why is it that when min wage was within living costs back in the old days there was no complaints, but now when it isn’t, boomers are fighting against increasing it to proportionally where it was before?

If you graduated college and worked in CA for $20 hour you should ask that Q. $20 in CA is like 11 in LA

I think there's a much better chance you actually don't have those degrees and just have some liberal arts degree from a place that just fed you commie gobbledygook.

Those jobs you listed require certain pre requisites. Fast food doesn’t. People with families or in poverty can’t shell out $$$$ to get educated. You want less adult fast food, make professional training free
With the availability of grants and loans, it is essentially free or at least free at this time.
With respect to skilled labor, this is actually something that is a benefit of unions... most of the unions these days are paying 100% of the cost of training and also providing stipends.
Now, this is certainly easier before you start a family... so there is a level of personal responsibility here.

Did you even graduate or just post here as a lawn chair fan

Considering how emotionally invested he is in this I'm wondering if the "Masters in Economics" holder might in reality be a McDonalds employee.

Minimum wage laws artificially suppress wages.

Wages arent the problem. Monetary policy which makes it impossible to live on min wage is the problem.
Every year the government overheats the economy with debt, it causes inflation that offsets any gains most people make.
We have enough money, its the cost of living thats needs fixed.

You do know there is a "preview" button that allows one to make sure that what they post isn't moronic drivel before committing, correct?

This is more likely to be better for ca than not. What’s the point of making so much money if all the lower income people can’t afford to live there and therefore leave?
This is all a quick short term fix. The "poor" will enjoy the boost for about 6 months, and then complain about how prices of goods are high. If increasing MW is the answer then it wouldn't be a major dire issue every few years.
Basic economics eludes you lefties chasing that commie utopian carrot.

You should be embarrassed to admit that publicly. The sad part is that you aren’t.

Now we are starting to get to the real answers.

Apparently this concept is lost upon a lot of people, how much should the government be involved in determining what is a "livable wage" and how much of it should be each person's responsibility?
